Model Overview

Regarded as one of the most innovative and influential musicians of the 20th century EVH was known for fast and fluid guitar solos impeccable tone and dazzling technique. Constantly modifying his guitar for ever greater levels of performance Eddie experimented with various necks pickups wiring configurations and bridges and ultimately ushered in the era of Superstrats. Our 1984 neck pays homage to his remarkable contribution to guitar playing and design by combining many of the specs he popularized into one highly playable high-performance replacement neck.

Whats AAA?

Every unit with this designation is at least AAA grade flame maple with many units actually exceeding the standard. We inspect each unit post-production to make certain the finished product is worthy of our AAA guarantee.

Why Roasted?

Roasting the wood enhances stability by reducing the moisture content down to around 7. The result is a more-resonant neck thats stronger and less susceptible to changing weather conditions.

• Due to the lack of moisture in roasted maple the risk for cracking is more apparent. When drilling holes for screws we recommend measuring inside and outside of the threads first to determine the correct drill bit to use. Do not force screws into holes drilled with smaller drill bits.
